Senior Premier Cricket
WHAT is Senior premier cricket?
The PCC Senior Premier Cricket Program is a component of WA Premier Cricket and represents the highest level of male and female cricket competition in Western Australia. Positioned within the high-performance pathway, it serves as a bridge between grassroots participation and elite player development. Established in 1885, the Premier Cricket competition has evolved to encompass 10 male divisions and 4 female divisions. WA Premier Cricket continues to play a significant role in nurturing and advancing some of the most accomplished cricketers in both Western Australia and Australia at large.
Juniors
MY Child WANTS TO PLAY CRICKET - what age groups does the PCC cater to?
There are four junior boys' teams, ranging from Under 13 to Under 17, as well as two junior girls' teams competing at the Under 14 and Under 17 levels. The minimum age we cater to is 11 for boys and 12 for girls.
How do I play Junior cricket at the PCC?
Selection trials for all junior teams are done close to seasons end for the next season. They are listed in the junior trials section when they become relevant
Does my child have to play community cricket as well as premier cricket for Perth CC?
No, they don’t have too but the club strongly encourages all our junior players to play both community and premier cricket.
Is the Perth CC an endorsed club for keeping children and young people safe?
Yes, the Perth CC has adopted the national policy and framework for keeping children and young people safe. The policy documents are available via Club Governance
